Upgrade StorageZotero Connector slows down Firefox
I have a problem that the Zotero Connector for Firefox slows down new tabs loading on one of my computers. With it enabled, it takes >20 seconds for the google search page to load for example. I have tried restarting Firefox in safe mode, and then the problems disappear. When disabling all extensions and enabling them one by one, the problem is clearly related to the Zotero Connector. I have tried to reinstall the Connector, but that does not change the situation. I have also tried with a new Firefox profile, but it's the same issue. Some info about the system setup:
- MacOS Mojave 10.14.6
- Firefox 75.0
- Zotero Connector 5.0.64
- Zotero 5.0.83
Any hints would be much appreciated, as I need the functionality of being able to save to Zotero from web pages, and I'd much prefer to stay with both Firefox as my default browser, and Zotero as my default reference manager!
