Czech translation (volume -> dil)

Dear devs,

in Czech translation of Zotero interface, there is "Ročník" as translation for "Volume" in Book-type. In case of other periodical type this is true and correct, but in case of a Book it should be rather "Díl" (in meaning of "Part"), IMO.

Cheers, M
  • Dear developers, there are very significant errors in the Czech interface. Can I do something about it? It is really disturbing. E.g., "Edice" in Czech means "series", NOT "order between the different editions" (e.g., 2nd edition), etc. Really significant and evident errors in the various fields. Is there any hope I could contribute to make it better?
  • @LiborA you're on the translation team, aren't you? Do you have any insights on this?
    Generally, @davidzbiral you can join the translation team: https://www.transifex.com/zotero/teams/16983/cs_CZ/ but it looks like a pretty active team, so make sure to communicate with other team members before making sweeping changes.

    A lot of months ago I change my UI of Zotero to English, so I have no best insight on this. But what David said is not correct. "Edition" is really "Edice" in czech.
    David ( @davidzbiral ) please see on this page https://aurimasv.github.io/z2csl/typeMap.xml for more info about the exact definition of individual terms.
    EDIT: I am not a librarian so I will ask Mr Kratochvíl from Library of Masaryk University to check the correct translation of the Czech UI.
