Over my quota

I've been over my quota and had to delete a number of files (did empty the trash, too). However, it doesn't seem to register. I am assuming this is because zotero is unable to sync due to my being (previously) over my limit. How do I go about that?

    The quota is for online storage only, so you'll never be able to upload more than the quota, and it will only ever show you as using up to that amount. But that doesn't mean anything about the amount of storage you're using locally, particularly if you've been at your quota for a while. If you're still getting the quota error when you try to sync, it just means you still have more locally that can't be uploaded.

    For example, if you were using 8 GB locally and were at your 6 GB quota online, deleting 1 GB of files locally and emptying the trash wouldn't stop you from getting the quota error, since locally you were already 2 GB above the quota.
