Scroll bar does not work properly

For some reason, when I am working with my notes on a given title (there are 67 notes), the scroll bar does not work properly in allowing me to scroll through all my notes. Any thoughts?

I have the same problem (Firefox 3.5.2, Zotero 2.0b6.5).

When an item is highlighted in the left pane within a subcollection, then the scrollbar doesn't resize in either the middle or right panes (in the right pane it doesn't appear at all).

The same item highlighted in the entire My Library list, though, doesn't have quite the same effect. In this case, the right-hand pane still has no scrollbar, but the middle pane can be scrolled, allowing me to access all of my notes on the item (in this case about fifty of them) using my mousewheel to scroll.

The scrollbar on the middle pane doesn't resize correctly, though, so that clicking and dragging it means that I continue to scroll //outside// of the firefox window, as if I'm scrolling using an invisible or virtual scrollbar, which is then limited by the edges of my screen. It's a little strange and difficult to explain correctly.

The scrollwheel on the mouse saves the day though, in the Library list.

    Longer and more limited workarounds:
    1) Use advanced search to hunt for a particular note by text - the results list is limited to direct hits.
    2) Create a report from the item and scroll through the notes in the main browser pane.
  • Actually, I just came across an even simpler workaround - just highlight something below the problematic item before expanding the problem item. The scrollbar appears at the right size to include the item highlighted.

For example, I have fifty or so notes on a book by Heft, which I normally can't scroll through if I highlight it and click the expand button in the middle pane.

The item below Heft in the list is a book by Holt. If that is highlighted when I expand the Heft item, I get the full list of notes and a scrollbar to match.
