Can't drag files into Zotero

Hi,

I reinstalled windows and zotero recently. I can no longer drag pdfs or other files into the zotero window to put them in my library. I'm able to import by clicking on "store copy of file" in the zotero add options and this works fine (including retrieiving metadata). For some reason, however, I can't drag the files. There's no error message, it just doesn't allow me to do so. It shows the circle with the line across it once I try drag it.

Make sure zotero.exe isn't set to "Run as Administrator" in Properties. That's one known cause of this.

Restarting your computer might also help. This is something in Windows, not Zotero.
