I am doing my dissertation proposal. So in trying t save pdf journal articles using the connector icon at the top right corner of my browser, am getting a message saying that "This item could not be saved because Zotero is not open or is unreachable. Please open Zotero and try again".
This just started this week, i have not had this problem in the past. Even sending a debug report in the advanced setting is not working.
The Debug ID should be from Zotero, not the Zotero Connector — just like you provided above, but for the actual save attempt, not for Zotero startup.
But if you can't submit a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector, there's some other problem. What exactly happens?
Restart your computer and try again. If you're still having trouble, can you submit a Report ID from the Zotero Connector? If not, can you copy any errors that show up under Report Errors in the Advanced pane and paste them here?
If so, can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt that fails?
