How to sync metadata items w/o attachments
I currently use Zotfile and a linked directory to sync all of my PDF files though cloud storage.
The problem is is that when I want to use Zotero on another computer, I cant rely on automatic fetching of metadata and have a lot of manual entries of metadata. This means that when I import the pdf database I get a ton of PDFs without parent metadata. Is there a way to sync metadata items in a similar fashion to how Zotfile allows for PDF syncing (e.g. moving it to a separate folder)

dstillmanI'm not really understanding the question. To use your Zotero library on multiple computers, you use Zotero syncing.

surmeier0That is a possibility, but I have more than 300 MB worth of metadata content, and am looking for other means of syncing metadata. Sorry for not clarifying

dstillmanThe 300 MB is for files, which you're not syncing (because linked files don't sync). Data syncing is unlimited.
