Can't seem to move files from Zotero application to the web library in chrome

So I have a bunch of files saved on my zotero application and I have the chrome extension downloaded. I can't seem to move any files from application to my group web library and it's driving me crazy. On the web library on "my library" none of the files i have saved in the application is showing up on "my library". Does anyone know how to fix this?

    You just need to sync.

    Ahh I see thank you! Also one last thing, after dragging and dropping files from my personal library to my group one I can't seem to open them. I can open them fine from my library, but after transferring them to my group library I can seem to open them. Do you know how I can fix this?

    Meaning that you get the file-not-found error when you click on the attachment in the group?

    The main way that currently happens if 1) Zotero is set to download files "as needed" in the Sync pane of the preferences and 2) the file doesn't exist locally when you do the drag, as indicated by an empty circle in the attachment column in the middle pane. When that's the case, you currently need to double-click to open the file in the first library, which will cause it to be downloaded automatically, before dragging it. This doesn't happen if Zotero is set to download files "at sync time". A future version of Zotero will automatically download a file that's unavailable locally before trying to copy it.

    To fix this for a previously copied item, delete the parent item in the group library, empty the trash, and drag the item again.

    But my zotero is already set as "at sync time". Also, I tried what you suggested and double clicked and opened each of my sources, But when I moved it to the group web library it still refused to open.

    Can you provide a Debug ID for 1) successfully opening a PDF you haven't yet copied to the group library, 2) dragging the parent item to the group library, and 3) opening the item in the group library and getting the file-not-found dialog?

    Never mind, the solution has been found. One of the sources was not working properly so when I massed moved the entire group, the rest also refused to work. Thank you for your help, the opening each of the sources was the help I needed!

    That shouldn't happen, though. If you can reproduce that, we'd still want to see a Debug ID.
