Upgrade StorageSyncing Zotero Accounts

I have read up on merging two sets of references by syncing accounts.
I have a Zotero log in in one name and a second in another name but I dont have physical access to the second where I have a large amount of referencing for an assignment I am working on. Moreover references I am trying to add are not being recorded despite downloading the Chrome extension. Unfortunately I am not technical and although online support and You Tube is my first port of call I can't seem to resolve the issues - anyone any suggestions please?

dstillmanCurrently, the only way to merge data from separate accounts is to export (to "Zotero RDF") from one of the libraries and import it into the other, but that will reset all Date Added values and break links to items from any citations in word processor documents for the old data. I'm not sure what you mean by that. See Reporting Problems for the kind of info we would need.
