Leaving a group that's not visible online

Hello -
I'd like to leave a group that shows up in my standalone, but does not appear online. Everything is synced.

I'm on a MacBook Pro High Sierra 10.13.6, and am using Zotero 5.0.85.

    That should only happen if you previously lost access to the group (because you left the group or it was deleted) and, when prompted, you chose to archive the group locally. In that case, you should be able to right-click on the group and remove it. Are you seeing that option?
  • I'm not, I only see:
    Sync, New Collection, New Saved Search, and Export Library.

    Maybe it hasn't been syncing/I've set it not to? I'm afraid to do anything with it without advice from someone who knows what they're doing, my account is already sloooooowwwww to do anything at all.

    What happens if you click Sync in that menu? If you don't have access to the group, it should prompt you to delete or archive it.
