Zotero Connector for Chrome disabled

I have been using the Connector for Chrome without any problems until now when it has suddenly disabled itself. If I click on the Enable link nothing happens. Any help gratefully received.

    "Disabling itself" is not really what this extension or any extension does; there may be another extension or process interfering with its functioning. Have you recently installed other extensions?

    Have you tried removing the Zotero Connector via Manage Extensions and re-add it from the Chrome webstore?

    Many thanks, Mark. I have no idea what happened to the Connector but found a message suggesting it had been corrupted so after trying to repair didn't work, I deleted it as you suggested and reinstalled - that has done the trick! Cheers :)
