I'm having the exact same issue with my Zotero, same error message. It had been working fine a few months ago, but I upgraded my operating system a few weeks ago and now this is happening. I clicked on this thread to see if I could fix it, but I don't understand the instructions. I don't generally go mucking about in the back end of my computer, so I don't really know what I'm doing. But happy to do so if I have step-by-step instructions! Could you please provide?
Thanks!

You should fix the permissions on the Zotero profile directory (within Roaming) so that your current user has access to all files and folders below it, and you should delete the cache directory within C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Zotero\Zotero\Profiles.
