  • If you close Zotero, go to your Zotero profile directory, and move extensions.ini, extensions.json, and the 'extensions' folder to your desktop, and then restart Zotero, does it work? (If any of those don't exist, that's OK.)
That won't help here, but you're reading instructions for Windows. In all Mac apps the preferences are accessed via the application menu (so in this case the "Zotero" menu).
  • je ne trouve aucun 'extension" ....
  • What other files do you see in the directory where you're looking?
  • It sounds like you're misunderstanding what I asked you to do above regarding the profile directory.

Can you say exactly what you're trying and what's happening?

  • Those strings in angled brackets are placeholders — you can't paste that literally or you'll end up in your /Users folder, which is where you're seeing Guest and Shared.

But there's no need to use that method at all. See the linked page:
Note: The /Users/<username>/Library folder is hidden by default. To access it, click on your desktop, hold down the Option key, and click the Finder's Go menu, and then select Library from the menu.
  • Option is the Mac name for the key, but it's usually Alt on a Windows keyboard, yes.

You will definitely see Library in the Go menu when you hold down the Option key.

Again, you need to hold down the Option key when selecting the Go menu for Library to appear. On a non-English keyboard, the key may say Alt and show the symbol for Option instead:

  • Is there someone you can ask to help you in person and post here for you?

This entire step is just a first troubleshooting step that may not even fix the problem, so if we're still only this far after this many posts we're not going to be able to troubleshoot this effectively.

You should also try just restarting your computer, if you haven't yet.
  • OK, great. Could you select those files on your desktop, right-click, compress them, and email the ZIP to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

    You can then delete them.
  • D'accord je le fais.
  • OK, thanks.

Based on the file you sent, it looks like, when you installed Zotero, you first tried to run it directly from the disk image (.dmg) rather than dragging the app to the Applications folder and launching it from there. Zotero would've shown an error message and refused to run, but even if you then copied the app to Applications, the word processor plugins would've stopped working the next time you restarted your computer.

We'll try to fix this on our end, but just note that you always want to run Mac apps from the Applications folder, not straight from the .dmg. Like Zotero, many apps will provide an alias to the Applications folder right in the disk image window so that it's easy to drag the app to Applications.
