Zotero in Google Docs

Is Zotero supposed to work in Google Docs? My colleague is having some problems using Zotero in Google Docs, for example the reference list becomes inaccurate when she moves pieces of text around in the document or adds/removes parts of the text.

Everyone editing the document must have the Zotero Connector installed and authenticated with Google Docs for use with Google Docs, otherwise copying and pasting pieces of document will unlink the citations in the copied text.
