Extra white space between text and footnotes in Word (16.33)
Hi,
I am using Zotero to manage my citations/footnotes in a Word doc. There is inconsistency in how much white space there is between the end of the text on a page and the beginning of the footnotes. Sometimes it breaks a paragraph up and sometimes it does not. I cannot type in the area where the white space is or select it.
There is one instance where there is only a few lines of text followed by half a page of whitespace followed by only a few footnotes.
How can I troubleshoot this?

adamsmithThe spacing between footnote and text is entirely handed by Word -- Zotero just tells Word "Insert footnote with content X", so you'd have to look at Word's footnote setting for a solution, likely both the general footnote settings (which determine how it relates to other text) and the Word style "footnotes" which determine the formatting of the footnote itself.
