Zotero's style for JACC looks good, except that, within the text, the citation number(s) should be placed before the period, instead of after the period.

Here's an example of how it should look, per JACC:

Current therapeutic options include medical therapy, mainly diuretic agents, and surgical cure. However, the yield of cardiac surgery for isolated TR is uncertain, as it carries significant mortality and morbidity risk (5–7).

  • Zotero doesn't determine the placement of citations. They're inserted wherever you have your cursor when you click Add Citation.
