Downloaded Biophysical Journal citation style does not italicize journal titles
I downloaded the citation style for Biophysical Journal by searching for the journal name. I am now using it in Microsoft Word (Mac, 2016).
Journal titles are not italicized, and it likes to add spacing in between entries in the references list.
You can see that in the journal, journal titles in citations are italicized: https://www.cell.com/biophysj/fulltext/S0006-3495(12)00630-3
How might I edit the style so that journal titles are italicized?

But... I realized I might be mistaken re. the citation style now, so I may have wasted your time. Sorry.
This document describes reference formatting (section References), and it seems journal titles are not italiczed. https://www.cell.com/pb-assets/journals/society/biophysj/PDFs/author-guidelines.pdf
What confused me is that if you look at any article in the current issue, e.g. the following open access article, https://www.cell.com/biophysj/fulltext/S0006-3495(19)30542-9, journal titles are formatted with italics. So perhaps this is something done by the editorial process, not by authors.
Oftentimes (and this is after creating some 500 of styles) the journals/publishers do not update their citation guidelines.
So use that style to submit your paper. If it comes back we can always change it. This style should be fine though. ;)
