Trouble importing PDFs from online databases

I've been using Zotero for a couple of years and have had recurring problems with the Zotero plugin for Firefox being able to find and download PDFs with the records. I use EBSCO library databases, particularly PsycInfo. Most of the time my library has subscriptions to journals so I can get the PDF online. However, Zotero frequently has trouble finding the PDFs (e.g., the Zotero plugin icon doesn't change to a PDF, even when I'm on a page looking at the PDF). I have posted about this a lot in the past on a Discussion thread called "Getting references into Zotero from online databases (with PDFs)." Ideally if I can find the PDF from the EBSCO links, Zotero can as well. What do I need to do to fix this problem?
