lost entries

I created a new library and added 10 new items. today my library is empty. I can't find any of my entries.
In preferences I have two librarys listed: My Library & Feeds and one that I had titled semester. The new information is in neither.

    What do you mean by "new library"? Do you mean that you started using Zotero for the first time, or you created a group library? How exactly did you add items to the library? Where exactly are you looking? (As in, on your computer, after you start it up, what are you doing, step by step, to look at the items?)

    You have >100 items in the online account of the account you're posting from, and assuming you're syncing you would see those in your local Zotero.
