Upgrade StorageInsert citation problem

Just encountered a problem.
When I inserted a citation in Word, the green bar in the red-framed box was running for a long time and it seems stuck. So I am not able to type anything to select the papers.

But my case is, if I open a new blank Word file, the problem still exist.
