Zotero in Word

Even with help from the University IT help desk - I have been able to download Zotero and upload books etc and within academic work I have been able to save the links. Problem being I can not get the Zotero to go into word - IT have managed it to show on the ticket but as soon as you shut word it disappears. I am using the Uni's Office 365 and the laptop is literally a few months old. Would be grateful for any advice on how to rectify the situation.

I'm assuming you've seen https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#zotero_tab_does_not_appear_in_the_word_ribbon ?
If so, what exactly have you tried and with which results?

Adam, many thanks for your help. Eventually I have got it to work - must of done something different to what the IT specialists did, but also followed the link you sent me.
