It means what it says—you have disabled automatic updating of the references in your document (you were likely prompted to do so after an update took a long time).

To update your citations and bibliography, click the Refresh button in the Zotero tab in Word. You can re-enable automatic updates in the Document Preferences window in the Zotero tab in Word.
