Word plugin: Shortened form discontinuity between chapters?
Using the Word plug-in, if you have used a reference once before, subsequent references for the same item will use the shortened form.
I have multiple sections (chapters) within Word where the footnotes begin at '1' again for each section.
Given this, can we make Zotero only use the shortened form if the reference has been used within its own section?
For example, if I have referenced something in chapter 1, then reference it again in chapter 2, can Zotero not use the shortened version until I use it for a second time in chapter 2?

adamsmithNot possible automatically, no. Generally, the recommendation would be to author the chapters as separate files, which would obviously do this automatically. That requires some back&forth to get the bibliography (copy chapters with active citations into one doc, generate bibliography, then create the final doc from chapters with unlinked citations and copy the bibliography in)
