Upgrade StorageZotero user and Endnote user - collaborating on manuscript

I know that this has been discussed on different threads. I've been a faithful Zotero user since 2006. My collaborators are endnote users that keep individual libraries and do not share their libraries. If I'm the primary author on a project what is the best method/practices to share and merge references on a collaborative project. It was suggested my a member that I export all my references with the manuscript, then they upload it to their library and then they could have someone help them cross check the references. There has to be someone who's figured this out and has a better process. Any advice would be appreciated.
