  • What exactly is the problem you are having?
  • When Zotero starts, the various UI panes are blank (wish I could post a screenshot) with the message: 'An error has occurred. Please restart Zotero. You can report this error by selecting "Report Errors..." from the help menu.'
    That's all I know.
  • Can you submit a Debug ID for a startup attempt that ends in this error: https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output

    1. In the Help menu, go to Debug Output Logging and select “Restart with Logging Enabled…” to generate debug output from Zotero startup.
    2. Once the error has occurred, before doing anything else, return to Help → Debug Output Logging and click Submit Output, which will disable logging and submit the output to zotero.org.
    3. A window should pop up containing a Debug ID (e.g., “D12345678”). Click “Copy to Clipboard” and paste the Debug ID into a response here.
