advanced search + search "everything"?

I have nested collections in Zotero which are not recursive (for my organization purposes). I like the "Everything" option in the quick search menu that allows me to look "inside" the pdfs. I also like the "search subcollections" option in the advanced search. Is there some way for me to search the indexed pdfs (i.e. "Everything") in the advanced search so that I can use the "search subcollections" feature simultaneously, without having to make my collections recursive?

If you want to search the full-text content of PDFs specifically, you can use the Attachment Content search condition in advanced search. There's currently no precise equivalent to Everything in advanced search, though that's a fairly common request.

You can, however, simply "Show Items from Subcollections" on and off from the View menu while using the search bar.
