Converting from Chicago to MLA - "no printed form" error

When I try to convert the citations in my Word document from Chicago (author-date) to MLA, I get the error "[no_printed_form]" in the place of the reference (that is, not for all, but for several of my references). When I insert the same references in a new document (in MLA), they appear correctly. What might the problem be?
  • If you have a suppress author citation without a page number in Chicago author date, that'd be empty in MLA (because there are no years in text there) and thus throw an error
  • Thanks, guess that's it.
