Bug in citing Bibliography for Pages under Book Section

When creating a Bibliography for a Book Section, the "Pages" data strips one number:

212-229 becomes 212-29

Any reason/solution for this?

I assume you are creating a Bibliography in a Word/LibreOffice document.
The formatting of the page numbers is set by the citation style. (see here for documentation: http://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#id102)

    What style are you using?
  • I use Chicago 17th Author-Date style. I am only pasting from Edit > Copy Bibliography

    Result e.g:
Giles, Kevin. 1995. “Deficiencies in Past Ecclesiology and the Promise of Trinitarian Ecclesiology.” In What on Earth Is the Church?: An Exploration in New Testament Theology, 212–29. Downers Grove: InterVarsity.

Should have been (see Pages before Place):
Giles, Kevin. 1995. “Deficiencies in Past Ecclesiology and the Promise of Trinitarian Ecclesiology.” In What on Earth Is the Church?: An Exploration in New Testament Theology, 212–229. Downers Grove: InterVarsity.

Again, it strips a number in the pages section.
  • That's correct Chicago Manual style. It abbreviates page ranges
  • Ahh. I learned something new today. Thank you guys for helping me out :-) Have a nice weekend!
