freeplane mindmap integration
Hello,
Freeplane, a fork of freemind, now has custom url handlers.
http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=690298
This means, entries in the mindmap could have the form
zotero://attachment/13306/
on clicking zotero would be started with the article open.
For this to work, zotero has to install a protocol handler with the os that maps zotero:// to firefox with the right command line options.
Here is some info on what I tried on windows:
http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/6735/protocol-handler-for-zotero/
Unfortunately I did not manage to get firefox to start with zotero open on the desired article.
What are the command line options for firefox to open a zotero entry, if possible in an existing window?
In my opinion, registering the protocol would be very useful, not only because it allows to relate articles to each other in freeplane, but also because links can be embedded into many documents (Word etc.).
