Adding to bibliography but not citing>

Hi,

I want to give pointers in my work to some recommend read on subject outside the scope of the paper. So technically I don't need to cite only to add to Bibliography. Can Zotero do this?

I see. But I can edit bibliography only after inserting. For some reason I thought I should add the biblio at the end. Or is it standard workflow to add it from the start and refresh it now and then?

It's fine to insert it from the start unless you have a very long document, where that slows down inserting citations. If that's the case, I guess I'd put a tag on additional items you want to insert so you remember them and then do it in the end.

@adamsmith Aha. Thanks. Sorry to be so ignorant but what do you mean tag? As in a Word comment? Or what do you mean by tag?

Within Zotero you can give tags, like "insert later" if you don't want to create the bibliography just yet.

I would suggest starting those sorts of “workflow” tags with a piece of punctuation so that they sort to the top of the tag list in Zotero, such as “_insert later”
