Zotero 5.0.80 uses around 50% CPU on MacOS

Since the last update Zotero stand-alone uses around 50% CPU permanently. This is on MacOS 10.15.1. Is there a way to avoid this?

Do you have the Better BibTeX add-on installed? I believe there was at least one report of that causing this (and I think the developer is actively investigating or may already have a fix). Regular Zotero without extensions should idle at ~0%.

Thanks. It's probably this one:

Just installed the Better BibTeX update and the CPU usage is down again.
