Upgrade StorageSuddenly cannot up add/edit footnotes or bibliography
Help! I have a large document (PhD thesis due soon) and yesterday I tried editing the preferences of the document to switch to Chicago Manual of Style 17th ed., rather than 16th which is what I was using. Now it's not allowing me to add/edit any citations or bibliography. I've followed the instructions in other forums. I've "accepted all changes" for tracking on the document, duplicated it, copy and pasted it, etc. I went through my image captions to make sure nothing was copied directly from a zotero generated footnote. Nothing is working. Please help!! This is due pretty soon and I am panicking.
Generally speaking, though, if it still works in a new document, you need to follow the Debugging Broken Documents steps, which, if you follow to the end, will by definition isolate and fix the problem.
