Zotero not functioning in Google Doc

When I attempt to put in a citation, the screen freezes and reports that Zotero is updating my document, but nothing happens. This is occurring on my screen and on several of my students' Google accounts as well. My report id is 446820944.

    Make sure that the insert citation window isn't open somewhere else. It can easily open behind the browser (and would be grouped with Zotero in most operating systems)

    Thank you! I think this might indeed be the answer for my computer and hoping it is for most of my students as well. I'll keep you updated.
