My Zotero works fine with some databases (e.g. PubMed) but not others. In particular, I am trying to download citations/abstracts from SAGE Journals into my Zotero library and no matter what I do it doesn't work. I have tried clicking on "Save to Zotero" link in my Chrome browser, and have also tried clicking on "Download selected citations" on the SAGE Journals webpage where I am searching for literature. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you!

What exactly happens when you click the Zotero button in your browser toolbar? Can you give a specific URL at Sage where it doesn't work?

For the past month the Sage website has been having intermittent problems with responsiveness. This affects not only requests from the Zotero client but also links on the site itself -- clicking to view an article from an issue table of contents, selecting a different issue from a list of published issues, etc. The publisher is aware of this problem. In my experience, sometimes a click doesn't produce a response for more than one minute but the site will eventually respond. I have had to wait almost two minutes. Sometimes the site will not respond. Sage suggested that I open a new tab and try again. To my surprise this seems to work -- but the site is still quite slow.

Edit- I find it interesting that my browser doesn't give a time-out message for these minutes-long delays.

The URL is below. What happens is that I press the Zotero Chrome link, and rather than the various papers I have selected along with metadata being downloaded into my Zotero library, there is simply an entry called "Search results", which only contains a Snapshot sub-folder which has a link to the Sage webpage where my search was made.
