Error with Google Docs Integration
I'm working with a person who is persistently having the "Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to view troubleshooting instructions?" and similar errors when trying to cite things in Google Docs. We've tried pretty much everything in the troubleshooting doc. I thought we had fixed it last week by a totally clean install of Zotero and the connector; things seemed to be working fine, but now she's contacted me a few days later and said the problem has returned.
One thing I'm wondering about. One of the troubleshooting tips is to make sure that you are using the same Google account that has rights to edit the Google doc when you log in to Zotero. We've been careful about that, but it's also the case that she always has 2 different Google accounts logged in to simultaneously in Chrome, because she takes/teaches classes at 2 different universities and so has 2 different Google accounts associated with those different schools. Could having more than one Google account open in the same browser affect Zotero's ability to insert citations into a Google doc?

adomasvenAs long as she selects the correct account to authorize with Zotero it would not and also cannot cause any lasting issues for a given document. It would be best if your colleague could post here herself so we could perform more direct troubleshooting.

I just had another session with her and think we've worked it out (she was choosing the right account, but the subsequent window was opening behind the browser window, so she wasn't aware what was going on. We also were able to open docs with both accounts, as long as (as you note) she kept track of which account went with which doc). Thanks for the quick replay.
