Local File Storage
Hi folks,
I'm a newbie using Zotero, so please forgive my ignorance. I have thousands of pdf files (books mainly) saved in a local folder in my computer that I want to add to Zotero, but apparently, when I add them to Zotero, it creates a copy of all the files in another Folder, together with the Metadata, etc. Is that the case ? and can I avoid that somehow, just to save up HD space?

As it says there, if using stored files, you'd likely just delete the originals after adding them to Zotero and let Zotero manage them. You can always export them later if you decide to stop using Zotero.
