Linux update installation - version does not change
I am running Debian buster, amd64. My Zotero install does not update on its own, so for the last couple updates I have downloaded a fresh install from zotero.org and copied them over the existing binaries (in my case, in /usr/share/zotero-standalone/). Per instructions, I then run set_launcher_icon again.
However, when I run Zotero (from the launcher icon) and go to Help > About Zotero, it still shows the older version number (5.0.58 instead of 5.0.77). Any ideas what's going on? Are the binaries updated, and the version number is wrong? or am I somehow running the old binaries (which shouldn't exist anymore)?
