Don't uplaod file attachments of "My Library" but use group libraries

Due to the limited storage, I would like to only synchronize files in my group libraries but refrain from synchronizing attachments to my own library (without merely linking those files). Are there any settings or add-ons that change the default behavior of synchronizing my file attachments in "my library" only?
