Upgrade StorageIndication issue

I have a small problem. I am form Poland. When I add a citation and choose a category „issue” to indicate the number of the publication, it appears for example „nr. 23”. In our language that is a serious grammatical error. I would like it should be „nr 23” – that is without “.”. How can I resolve this problem? Thanks

1. Wrong locales - but in current polish locals is "nr" without dot.
2. Use dot is predefined in the style template, each publisher has your own rules and use of "." can defined by these rules.
