dealing with duplicates?

Hi, I have the browser extension and often click on it to save an article, but find out I had already saved it. Then, it goes and saves another copy in my library.

I know I can get rid of duplicates, but is there a way to have it just not import it, if it already has a copy? additionally, I know I can see dupes by doing My Library -> Duplicate Items, but is there a way to delete one copy of each dupe, without manually clicking on every other one in that list? thanks!

In the duplicate items views, you can click on one item and it will automatically select all of the duplicated versions of that item that you can then click the Merge button to merge.

Pre-import duplicate prevention is a surprisingly difficult problem on the technical end, so that is why it hasn’t yet been implemented.
