Exceeded 300MB Maximum

Zotero says that I maxed out the amount of citations I can add to my library so I deleted a whole bunch of old citations thinking that it would bring me below my maximum limit but it didn't work. It still says I'm maxed out.

Is this a gliche in the Zotero program or am I supposed to delete 1/2 of my library before it no longer shows that I am maxed out?
