  • The APA 7th edition styles are now available in the Zotero Style Repository.

  • @dstillman, maybe a pinned thread mentioning the automatic upgrade of APA 6th to 7th edition would help people out.

    Per https://twitter.com/csl_styles/status/1212467531702771712, if people still need APA 6th edition they'll need to install this style from the style repository.
  • I notice APA 7 References DOI URLs should be blue and underlined as URL links. But I can't get the APA 7 template to do this automatically? See APA 7 page 309
  • Formatting links as live links is optional, but not necessary. See here for how you can do this in Word with Zotero https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/68413/bibliography-links-clickable
  • Thanks for your fast and detailed work on APA 7. This is excellent!
    However, our university is allowing students currently in the middle of their program to continue using APA 6. Is there some way for you to still include APA 6 as an alternative style to APA 7? Thanks!
  • APA 6th is still (and will be for the foreseeable future) available on zotero.org/styles
  • OK, wait; When I right-click on an entry and select "Create Bibliography from Item..." there is only one choice: APA 7. Where/how does one access APA 6?
  • Reinstall APA 6 from the Cite pane of the preferences ("Get additional styles…").
  • Thanks, I figured this out - and all of our students still on APA6 will also need to install this version.
  • I downloaded the APA 7 csl.txt file, but I do not know how to update APA 7 in my zotero software, I will appreciate it if someone gives me directions. Many thanks!

    There's no need to download APA 7 — the default APA style in Zotero is now APA 7.
