same reference several time without changing the reference number in the world doc

Hi,
I am having difficulties using same reference twice in the same document while keeping the same reference number. When I add the same reference the second time the number change according to the order in the text, but I want to keep the same number as previous when it's inserted for second time... can you help?

    What style are you using? Footnote/endnote styles (like Chicago (note)) don’t repeat numbers—the numbers are controlled by Word’s footnote feature, not Zotero, and it doesn’t make much conceptual sense for them to repeat.

    “Numeric” styles, such as Nature, ACS, or Cell, will repeat when the same source is cited.
