Modify Citation Style

Hello,

I selected the citation style: Chicago Manual of style 17th edition (author-date).
However, I would like change it a bit so I can shorten my in-text citations.
For example, I would like to change from (International Monetary Fund 2010) to (IMF 2010).

I would appreciate your help!
  • You can't easily introduce abbreviations into citation styles I'm afraid.

You can try the Zotero derivative Juris-M that provides such a feature through an abbreviation filter.

(@fbennett Would be great if this filter worked again in vanilla Zotero...)
