Openoffice plugin inserts new paragraph mark

When I have 'Record changes' turned on, every time the plugin refreshes a reference it will insert and extra paragraph after it.
It also 'forgets' to put an opening bracket for the citation (NLM style). Luckily this gets fixed when I turn off the changes tracking, accept all changes and refresh the citations. Unfortunately the extra paragraph marks remain.
For the time being I turn off the tracking when inserting references. However it will be nice to fix this, because tracking changes is an essential part of writing collaboratively.
All this happens in OpenOffice with the latest version of the plugin (2.0.a2) and Zotero (2.0b6.4740). I haven't tried Word.
