PDFs not moved to linked folder

On my Mac, I had been putting my pdfs in a linked dropbox folder with my database in the default location (username/Zotero). It had been working fine, but it looks like sometime in January, pdfs started being added to username/Zotero/storage instead. I have changed settings, deleted settings, deleted the library, deleted preferences, etc. (essentially started with a fresh Zotero install) and I cannot get a new pdf to be placed in the Dropbox folder. Whether linked or attached, they are all being put in the Zotero/storage folder.

Any ideas of what might be happening? Thank you!

    That's a ZotFile feature, not a Zotero feature.
  • Thanks, dstillman. I have ZotFile installed. A little Googling reminded me that I needed to right-click and manage the files to get them moved to the correct folder.
