Finding Citations by Number

I went through a long Google doc with over 90 citations, but I can't get it to make a bibliography. Is there a way to check which citation is assigned to which number? Meaning if I have a source cited as (15), can I work backwards to see which source in My Library is tagged to (15) ?

    You could change the citation style to an author/date style to find it.

    Place the cursor next to a number and click the Add/Edit Citation button. In the search bar that pops up, click on the item’s blue bubble to see the title and button to take you to the item in your library.

    What exactly happens when you try to insert the bibliography?

    @bwiernik literally nothing happens when I try to insert it. Generally it's been very glitchy working with GoogleDocs, requiring multiple re-starts and functioning poorly overall. I'm going to switch back to using Word.
