Cite from Firefox Zotero Pane

I would find it very helpful to be able to send a citation from the main Zotero pane in Firefox to a Word document. As it stands, I first find the item I want to cite in my library (which usually involves leafing through the PDFs) and then I still need to find the item from within the "Add Citation" dialog in Word. I am thinking of something like the way that RefWorks pushes citations from their "Write-N-Cite" app to their Word plugin.

Many people just keep a separate collection for each project/document they're working on, which can be easily accessed from the plugin dialog.
