Zotero is not updating

To whom it may concern,

This is the second time I'm trying to resolve this issue using forums. The last time was
(Report ID: 307255942) over a week ago. My current version is 5.0.55. I am on a Mac. How can I update Zotero when the manual update option is not working? For example, should I download another one or something? There are a number of things that are weird with my application and this has gone on for years. Sorry about not learning about troubleshooting sooner.

You don't say what's actually happening, but you can always just reinstall Zotero from the download page.

(But Zotero 5.0.55 is almost a year old, so you should certainly upgrade.)

I uninstalled the old version and downloaded a new one. Everything seems to be working better now.
