What am I doing?
Creating a citation guide, so far, based on Chicago Manual Style 17th Edition, “Full note. And for use in footnote in Microsoft Word. I may change from Chicago if it cannot provide what I want.
Which is, what?
Intext ciation will use footnote, such as: "this is a guide." (1-superscript). And the number (1) will be in the footnote, along with the rest of the metadata, author's name, name of article, date, etc.
The style will include the following sources, single-authored books, edited books to quote a chapter in such a book, online sources, such as UN, so-called gray literature (UN reports), and journals.
